Overview
Project Description: WAVEFORM Experiential was chosen by MOA to be one of 5 artists given an artist residency within the museum for 9 months to fully design and create an art installation. With nearly no limitations we designed and built a “Prismatic Light Vessel” that allows the traveler to scan the multiverse in search of possible timelines, realms, and realities associated with 7 different color themes. When activated by a viewer, the vessel was programmed to take the color of the rooms lighting and would take the traveler to one of the 7 different realms each with its own themed 3D animation and sound design
I.R.I.S. (The Inhabitable Reality Intelligence System) was built utilizing recycled technology, video mapping with custom animation, lighting and sound design. The vessel operates by utilizing the viewer's motion in a space to activate I.R.I.S. as it scans for inhabitable realities.
